What is Redemption Ministry?

Redemption Ministry was launched in October 2025 by Rachel Bougalis, Kathy Lattu, Julie and Lorn. Our mission – to continue to do what Jesus did. Specifically, to heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives and open prison doors for those who are oppressed.

Our ministry was birthed out of our passion to serve God and help those who are broken and hurting. We believe God is bringing deliverance to the forefront because so many people in the church are broken and overcome by adversity. Many of us do not realize that what we are experiencing is spiritual in nature. Satan and his forces are working overtime to distort our image of who God is and to capture our souls. His strategy is to fill our minds and hearts with clutter (the cares of this world, the pride of life and lust of the eyes, lies, confusion, depression, fears, anxieties, hopelessness) . . . constant noise that drowns out the truth and hinders our walk with the Lord.

There is no shame in admitting that we struggle with demonic influences and strongholds. It is not unusual for believers to be oppressed because of iniquity – sin that we practice and cannot get free from. However, it is not always what we have done that makes us vulnerable to demonic attacks. Many believers wrestle with generational curses that have been passed down through bloodlines. And Peter warns us that our enemy, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. He looks for open doors, times when we are wounded and our inner walls of protection are broken down, and he slips in to lead us into captivity – captured by the trauma in our lives. Could the missing link in our journey be deliverance? Isaiah 61 proclaims that not only did Jesus come to heal our broken hearts and to free captives (casualties of war) and prisoners (in bondage to sin), but to He will replace our ashes with beauty, our mourning with joy, and a spirit of heaviness with a garment of praise!

God has given us free will, so we cannot blame the devil for all of our problems. However, we can knowingly or unknowingly come under the attack and influence of the works and deception of demons.  We have all been wounded in some way and all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God opening doors to the demonic.

We believe Christians cannot be “possessed” but we can be demonized or under the influence/control of evil spirits. Evil spirits can invade the soul (thoughts, emotions, will) but not the spirit of a believer because our spirit belongs to God. We can have areas of our lives that are under the influence/control of evil spirits (areas where Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit do not have control).

Jesus dealt with thousands of demons, and He only taught one way to get rid of them. He commanded us to do the same.  Mark 16:17 And these signs will follow those who believe. In My Name, they will cast out demons.

INNER HEALING

+

DELIVERANCE MINISTRY

What is Inner Healing?
Inner healing is using prayer and the Word of God to heal the deepest wounds to our souls; wounds were caused by trauma or abuse that is too much for us to cope with. The trauma can be physical abuse, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, physical pain, or any emotional pain that we can’t cope with at that moment.

Just a few characteristics and effects of soul wounds are: Depression, Emotional Overreaction, Lost Time, Voices, Self-Harm (cutting), Suicidal Thoughts or Attempts, Emotional Shutdown.

What’s the relationship between Soul Wounds and Demons?
The trauma or abuse can be an entry point for demons. When someone says they are tormented by anxiety, fear, guilt, anger, or any other emotion, there is a strong possibility that they have deep soul wounds that are being tormented by demons. The demons won’t leave until the wounds are completely healed.

We specialize in getting to the root of the wounded parts of the soul and getting them healed.

What is Deliverance?

In short, it’s the casting out of demons, and it’s done by invoking the Name and Authority of Jesus.

The process that follows is:

1) identify the legal rights for the demonization

2) heal the wounds

3) cast out the demons

4) provide and instruct the client with self-inner healing prayers for any remaining wounds, and self-deliverance prayers to cast out any remaining demons.
